NEW MA POETRY OUTREACH PROJECT NEEDS YOUR HELP!

Click Here for the MPOP / LCC Survey

The Massachusetts Poetry Outreach Project (MassPop) is a new organization dedicated to creating resources to aid and support the Massachusetts poetry community, as well as exposing more people throughout the commonwealth to poetry. The MassPOP proposal lists as its first goal the creation of a database that will include Massachusetts poets, presenters, writing programs, venues and links to various technical resources for poets. So how can you help? We need to know more about the poetry resources already existing in the state to develop the database and our programs.

Please Help by forwarding this message; it includes a link to a survey that will assist our efforts to collect useful information about the Massachusetts poetry community.

Feel free to fill out the survey yourself if you have thoughts about poetry in your area!

Who should you forward this page to? People in one (or more than one) of the following categories:
*Poet
*Teacher of poetry (either in a formal academic setting or who offers private workshops or teaches at churches, community center or so on).
*Owner or operator of a poetry venue (including bookstores, churches or community centers, coffeehouses, libraries)

The Massachusetts Poetry Outreach Project is a partnership that includes the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) and the Massachusetts Foundation for the Humanities (MFH), with Cambridge's Commonwealth Foundation currently serving as fiscal agent. For more detailed information, please visit our website www.masspop.org to see more details about the program.

Many thanks for your help!
